Our take on Dodo Internet
Dodo Internet is the ISP arm of the Dodo brand, sharing the same parent company (Vocus) as other budget providers. Standard pricing is mid-market rather than the cheapest: NBN 25 at $73.99 is about $1 above Tangerine ($72.90), and NBN 50 at $87.99 is roughly level with Superloop ($89) and TPG ($89.99). The real appeal is the $30 a month first-six-months discount, which ends and steps the price back up. Customer satisfaction is below average, with common complaints about speeds during peak hours and support quality. The bundling option with Dodo energy and mobile may appeal to customers who want a single provider for everything, but compare each service individually, as the bundle discount rarely makes up for higher base rates across all services.
